Net Time sous Windows 2003 Server

Normalement votre machine est synchronisée avec son contrôleur de domaine, lequel est lui-même synchronisé sur un serveur de temps.

Si votre machine n’est pas connectée à un domaine, pour garantir une heure correcte (indispensable avec certains logiciels, lors d’un travail en groupe) vous pouvez demandez à Windows de se synchroniser sur un serveur de temps.

Voici donc la commande « magique » :

NET TIME /SETSNTP: »129.132.2.21 193.5.216.14 131.173.17.7 192.36.143.151″ (notez les espaces entre les numéros ip!)

Pour info :

  • 129.132.2.21 = swisstime.ethz.ch
  • 193.5.216.14 = ntp.metas.ch
  • 131.173.17.7 = ntps1-1.rz.uni-osnabrueck.de
  • 192.36.143.151 = time2.stupi.se

Sur un contrôleur de domaine, c’est un peu plus subtile.. :

  • Effectuer la commande net time /setsntp comme ci-dessus
  • Executer la commande : w32tm /config /update
  • Ensuite, arrêtez le service w32time : net stop w32time
  • Puis redémarrer le : net start w32time
  • Et forcez une synchro : w32tm /resync

Sous windows 2003, il peut y avoir un problème si le serveur de temps n’est pas une machine Win2003. Dans ce cas, effectuez ensuite les commandes suivantes :

  • w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:<NTP_server_IP_Address>,0×8 /syncfromflags:MANUAL
  • net stop w32time
  • net start w32time
  • w32tm /resync
